You don’t respond and keep sheepishly gazing at Trieste. This goes on for a very pronounced, uncomfortable period of time. Finally, Trieste exasperatedly declares to Elista, “Is this boy addled in the head? Please escort him out of our village.”
Elista, who had been your proponent up to this point, nods. You find yourself, still in a daze, outside the waterfall with your pack on the ground. You finally come to your senses and hoist the pack onto your back.
Your journey to find Endar has ended. You spend your remaining days hunting in the small area with the pond near Atlantis, although Elista and the other elves never approach you again. You only catch glimpses of them in the distance from time to time. As a few years go by, you become more and more of a hermit and are happy to have no companionship. The days grow colder as each year proceeds, and it is so cold one night that you fall into a sound sleep without waking.
