You turn to the right and begin slowly inching into the rightmost cavern. As the walls broaden out a bit, you feel a mild breeze rich with fresh air. ‘So far, so good,’ you think happily.
As you begin to relax, you notice a steep drop in the incline, which causes your body to start sliding downward. Unable to stop, the momentum increases. You suddenly find yourself thrown into chilly water. Unable to find any footing, you sink under the water, struggling to swim back to the surface. Not the best swimmer, your mouth quickly fills up with water, while a sharp pain pierces your lungs. Within a few minutes, your lifeless body is bobbing at the top of the water, which only moments before you had been unable to find to save yourself from drowning.
